Triton exists to solve the most persistent failures in modern construction—water intrusion, fire risk, material incompatibility, and premature structural breakdown. We engineer complete systems that bring mineral science, advanced chemistry, and human-centered protection together.
Triton’s story began after a residential fire destroyed a family home. While no lives were lost, the event exposed a simple truth: traditional materials often fail when fire is involved. That moment shaped Triton’s focus on fire-rated, mineral-based building systems.
Magnesium oxide is a naturally occurring mineral that does not burn, does not support mold or off-gassing, and maintains its integrity in the presence of moisture. Triton MgO boards are designed to provide fire resistance, moisture protection, clean architectural surfaces, and predictable long-term performance as part of our complete building assemblies.
Water-related failures rarely start with dramatic leaks. They begin quietly, at seams, transitions, fasteners, and mismatched layers where moisture finds a path in. Wet areas such as showers, bathrooms, and kitchens are exposed to repeated moisture over time, making assembly design critical.
Triton Watertight was developed to address problems caused by water with a complete system, instead of individual products that aren’t designed to go together and create gaps. Compatible layers, membrane technologies, sealants, and protective treatments are designed to work together, helping manage moisture, reduce points of failure, and provide redundant protection where it matters most.
Triton was formed by bringing together two disciplines that are often treated separately in construction: fire-resistant MgO boards and integrated waterproofing systems. Combining both of these systems together results in a complete protection system.
By merging mineral-based MgO boards with compatible waterproofing technologies under one company, Triton developed complete assemblies designed to work together from the start. The result is coordinated protection against fire, moisture, temperature change, to protect spaces where people live, work, and heal.
Resilience is engineered.
Safety is intentional.
Performance is designed.
Innovation is continuous.
Every component—boards, membranes, sealants, treatments—is designed to prevent structural and interior failures caused by fire, water, mold, instability, or incompatible materials. Triton systems over time—withstand climate, pressure, movement, heat, and continuous environmental stress. Performance is proven through real numbers, real assemblies, and real jobsites. Innovation merges mineral science with chemistry and system engineering.
