TRITON® MgO Products has spent years researching and developing magnesium oxide cement that is resilient and dependable in a variety of applications. Through internal labs and university partnerships, Triton has developed technology that goes into every magnesium oxide product we produce. We have leveraged that technology into a robust patent portfolio and designed-and-built a first-of kind commercial scale MgO manufacturing plant in the United States.
Create a fully integrated system designed to withstand movement, moisture, fire, and environmental stress. From board formulation to membrane compatibility, every layer is engineered with purpose.
Triton’s technology portfolio is built on patented mineral science, water-resistant chemistry, and manufacturing innovation. Together, these patents form the backbone of the Triton system—delivering performance, predictability, and long-term protection.
The core of our patented cement technology is a reaction between three reactants: Magnesium Oxide (calcined from naturally occurring and abundant magnesium carbonate), Magnesium Chloride, and water. When mixing these materials, ensuring the perfect stoichiometric ratios is critical to the performance and stability of the cement. With proper stoichiometry and proper curing conditions, that cement crystallizes to form a robust Magnesium Oxychloride Cement (MOC).
TRITON® Technology is a patented nanomolecular veneer cement that is engineered to coat and protect the MOC cement, giving it unmatched strength, stability, and longevity.
Cement + Aggregate = concrete. By mixing this Triton MOC with different aggregates, we can give the material a broad variety of physical properties to fit the needs of different applications.
Our US manufacturing facility utilizes AI and predictive analytics to provide 100x more data than available overseas. Every second of production, thousands of data points are being collected and stored—temperatures, flow rates, masses, dimensions, etc—to ensure every board was produced to our strict quality controls.
Board performance is predicted before the board comes off the production line—to be validated by randomly sampled testing in our lab.
